GRATEFUL GARMENT PROJECT
When victims of sexual assault seek medical attention, they are required to submit their clothing as DNA evidence. Often times, they are released with nothing more than a hospital gown to clothe them, only adding to their indignity. The Grateful Garment Project helps victims keep their dignity by providing a set of clean clothes to leave the hospital in. The GGP also provides resources such as shelter and safe house information, as well as emergency backpacks for children who have been victimized. Proleadsoft donated a full marketing website to help the Grateful Garment Project fulfill its mission to provide clothing and assistance to some of society’s most vulnerable people of all ages, sexes and orientations.
